These days the Gentle Giant paint app could be taken to another level.
I regret canceling my pre-order for the GG SJ.

I regret ‘cancelling’ my duplicate order for this, as I ended up transferring it to another collector who wanted it.

The regret only being that this would’ve been my first and only piece I could’ve flipped for more money. As most of my pieces in my collection don’t appreciate much, if at all.

They spend a whole lot of time in that short video not giving you a clear lingering look at the face sculpt.

Obviously you can freeze the video- but it sure likes like they are trying more to distract from the statue with all the BS video-sizzle nonsense, rather than letting it sell itself.

From what I can see it looks mostly good too- though it may be my least favorite of the three (Queen, GG, IS).
The only thing for sure to me is that it smokes the IM2 SSC one.

Thanks for sharing. We actually posted this video a few pages back before the thread took off. It's that darn mocking bird. Needs to focus on the statue instead of overlays and weird text shots. Just show the product!

Anyways, like Pdenham said, there a few shots of the face and I actually think it looks good in those few shots.

Actually while grabbing these screenshots, I don't think the face looks half bad compared to that other short 45 sec video. I think this is going to look real good in person.

To each their own but IMHO the face sculpt is looking good, I can see SJ on it.

I’m so very surprised, but I’m actually preferring the facesculpt on this one over Queens. However everything else from body to base I prefer Queens.

I mean do I see this from the movie when I look at it? IDK I don't think so, but I do think there is an overall good likeness to Scarjo.

I would have loved this suit and hairstyle on the Queen statue, with the same simple base and swaggering walking pose.

This is the best angle to me for this portrait.

It's not a bad likeness overall, and this hairstyle seems particularly tough to pull off in hard media, but the competitive pricing of the Queen is going to make this a tough sell for any that haven't been pre-sold yet.
