great piece, expected price. the license is just not that representative for me personally to warrant paying 1.8k. Now if this is a gundam piece, all bets are off.

when is prime1 going to get gundam license. They are a japanese company...bandai is a japanese company...comeon make it happen!...even though i know bandai will never license gundam for any figure/statue based products...ever.

They have/had the license for Gundam but didn't do anything with it. Dunno why. Someone here must be familiar with the lore on that topic.

I have like a dozen Perfect Grades in my collection (3 not built yet including the Perfect Strike and the new RX-78-2), so I would like me a good sized statue. But if they make it as big as this one I’ll be interested, but if it’s like the smaller Macross ones probably not.

The gerwalk one is pretty big I can tell you. But the other ones are indeed a lot smaller.

I was/am still thinking about getting that one.

If it wasn’t for all the Queen (and other) statues I’ve been preordering, I definitely would’ve gotten that one.

seriously? do you have link to any news or article that discussed this? it's insane if prime1 had/has gundam license and didn't make any statue.

Just doesn't seem possible, bandai is extremely protective of their gundam license, they almost never allow any other company to make gundam figures/statues, only license it for non-related items like putting it on a lunch box etc..

man a classic rx78 at 30" with good weathering and paint will be a dream come true, i wet myself just thinking about it
