ArtFX PVC statues defiantly have that shiny plastic look to them and they're only 1/6 scale but for the money you really can't beat how detailed they are.

I have the Superman and Blue Batman and neither of them are shiny. In fact if nobody tells you the Supes is PVC it would be hard to tell even if you're holding it. The thing is heavy.

Looks nice. The sculpt is very clean. Wish it was the New 52 costume with the shorts though...never liked the mini skirt versions much.

I'm not knocking the statue (I have most of the Artfx DC line), they're high quality statues but if you were to put it next to say a Mythos polystone statue you can defiantly tell the difference in materials. PVC just has this certain look about it... smooth and shiny even if they use matted paint..

The difference is very minimal. You have to look really closed to see the plastic seams (very common on PVC figures) and the paint app is of high quality that is really hard to differentiate one from the other. Kotobukiya is certainly not Bandai or Neca.

I would consider myself a "casual" fan of DC and although I know this is comic accurate, I wish Koto would have done one without the cape. But that's just me since I am used to seeing her without it.

But still awesome looking. Can't wait to add her to the lineup!
