Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I don’t know if I would call it significantly better, the old one is classic and a fantastic statue really. This one though is a killer representation of current Supes.
I still have t been charged and an anxiously awaiting its arrival to display next to the original.

The original would of been perfect if it was 100% sculpted with a light sculpted cape. For me the mix media ruined what should of been the perfect classic Superman statue.

Yup, exactly!
It was the mixed media that stopped me from getting the first Superman PF.

I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the paint on the base and the body suit. The video Jay posted shows some awesome shading and detail work. However, I'm still bothered by the skin. In some light it looks fine, in other light it looks way too dark and dusky like the original Red Sonja.

I've lived with it for almost a week now, and I don't even think about the skin tone anymore.
Some collectors who own the Lex PF have noted that Lex's skin tone is darker than the new Supes.

The statue looks great, but gonna pass. I own the OG PF Superman Exclusive and I am good with that one. reminds me of the comics and Alex Ross drawings.
