Guess i'm the only one who likes the witchblade statue as is.

For what its worth xm i think you did a stellar job on witchblade, i'll be ordering whenever (if) you decide to release it.

You are not the only one. I liked it too...BUT...I definitely think a better Witchblade can and SHOULD be made (especially after seeing Darkness). If you honestly compare the two...it's not close.

If they were to bring it out as is...I would like it and buy it. However, if they decide to rework it...I think that is more than fine by me and apparently some others as well.

The biggest issue I had was the blank expression on the portrait and the paint up of it. I don't want a dark green patina finish....I want a silver / platinum finish to it. That is the Witchblade I identify with.

For the record, I have no problem with the skull and it actually could be used to tie in Witchblade and Darkness. We will see.

I am willing to think the Witchblade that was shown is the one that will be put up for PO, however, there may be some changes to it, particularly in the portrait and paint up department.

And I never thought, and still don't, think the Phoenix portraits are ugly. The PO head, IMO, does not live up to what was previewed because it's not what was previewed

But no way are they "ugly".

That's the issue this this piece has. The 3D image head preview was not the one that was printed and created. But I like the head that was painted up. The mouth area was just a little off to me. But she had great hair, nice eyes, and some make-up. Could have used a little more olive/tan skin tone since Sara is Italian -- but that was my only comment.

The reason I'm not ordering is the base. Hate the skull. Not crazy about the tendrils either.

I wouldn't use the word ugly, but I don't think they're remotely worthy of the rest of the sculpt. The body, pose and base are absolutely masterful, and the heads look like they don't belong. And the reason I asked was because I think the face on this Witchblade is better than any of the Phoenix heads.

Yeah the Phoenix heads aren't ugly but they are unappealing and unsatisfying.
