I want to see when collectors will start to feel the heat. I slowed down collecting statues 90% last year. Prices and space is getting out of control. Seems like the sweet spot is 800.00 for a small pf 1300-1500 for a big pf, and 1800-1900 for a maquette. Maybe a little more for hardcore collectors. Now SS is at xm prices next they will see fan art. If people there is willing to pay 2-5k a statue. Then why not? Tap it sideshow you know you want it!

Different perception. Looks like women I know in late 20s to early 30s to me.

Sideshow could mirror the portrait, upscale it to 1/4 scale and offer only the portrait to existing owners of the current 1/4 scale Captain Marvel.
I wonder if Sideshow have ever considered the idea of offering new portraits for existing pieces?
PF's that have been out for 3+ years, those sort of pieces. It could catch on.

I wished they would but they won't. Anyone who can make a fan art or transfer the new head to the older pf? Anyone who does fan art know we want it!

I"m not digging the alt portrait. I think the mohawk is too high for me.

engineering a flying pose is tough and this does a relatively good job of it but i dont love the energy effect here or how it looks like a tree branch coming off her leg. the figure looks great though, ex looks cool

Yeah I agree, but at least the attachment point (the worst part IMO) isn't visible from a normal viewing angle.

I like it but I own the 1/4 which i think is better. I also don't think I'm that big enough fan of the character to own 2 statues so similar. All that said I believe this is excellent. I love both portraits and I will say I'm jealous of the energy mohawk as a 1/4th owner. This is a great addition to this line. And for the price comparison crowd I got the 1/4th Captain Marvel for $485 shipped 4 years ago. Had a 10% coupon code, remember those?
