I think killing monsters/aliens or Nazis/Hydra doesn't really count as "killing", when the enemy is faceless it's just another obstacle to overcome.

I think movie Cap is too strong/fast - they seem to have given him over the top endurance to the hits he's taking, serum or not.

I got the feeling Cap's own sense of self worth over the grief of Peggy and Bucky is what stopped him from lifting it. If he had've tried at the end of the film he would've done it.
