Just clicked the link and was surprised to see your entire family tackle the elephant in the room.

Yikes!!! Sorry, nearmint, but this is worse than what anyone else has posted so far.

Sorry to see the seam looks worse with the the regular (W) bodice. I was planning to display her with the regular bodice and the exclusive hands with the sword and shield. If mine looke like that, I’ll have to display her with the exclusive bodice which is a shame because I like the regular one better.

Great start to the review!

This one was a heartbreaker.

There's a whole lot of beauty on display, and the EX switchouts (mainly the extra sword and shield) function extraordinarily well, radically changing the theme of it, while still looking absolutely appropriate to the basic figure pose in either configuration.

But you're much more forgiving than I could be.

I'm greatly disappointed for the decisions that were made with this. Now, seeing the vid and hearing of the consistency in appearance across several samples, I've got zero regrets cancelling it just before it shipped.

Unfortunately, unlike the Superman which was clearly compromised by rushed factory work and no QC, it was almost certainly an executive decision that was responsible for the seam- likely a cost saver by only having one portrait cast and painted rather than two. Even in a best case it was likely to be noticeable. But with tolerances so tight, any tiny bit off and you not only get a seam, but a woefully obvious gaping gash.

To fix this properly would require not just another run, but a whole retooling- from the box to the molds. And since the factory isn't to blame, Chad would be on the hook for considerably more expense than the Supe redo.

Like I said, a real heartbreaker all around.

Hopefully they've learned their lessons on the neck seam for future statues.

My thoughts exactly. I only really like the more modern looking one.

Maybe I'll get lucky and have the reverse situation

Absolutely love the sword and shield configuration.

A fair assessment. I think it is a shame the neck seam is the fly in the ointment for a truly fantastic piece. The portrait is brilliant and the paint looks flawless to me.

I can't do it. I can't live with that seam. Which is a shame because she is stunning otherwise One of the best damn WW pieces on the market, but my OCD just won't let it be. It's like if I broke a statue and had to glue it together. I'd know that line was there and it's all my eye goes to.

I'm now praying that Catwoman and Starfire don't have the same issues. Catwoman more so because I think she will only connect at the head due to the cape.

If they are like Supergirl it will be one solid piece going into the base.
