Not sure why Koto would invest to produce this so-so Superman and not invest there time and efforts in a Aquaman??

Well, we know that non-Batfamily stuff sells slowly. Even DC gave up on giving Superman his own dedicated line of statues.

If I'm being honest though the DCC Man of Steel line weren't exactly good looking either. Honestly the Art if War Wonder Woman pieces out did the Superman line on a regular basis.
Superman and others can sell, it's just gotta look good.

If that were the case, they could've just altered the paint scheme (get rid of the metallics) instead of giving up altogether.
