As always, excellent pictures, breakdown and review as a whole. Kind of kicking myself for not getting this one. Funny you mention a painted stained glass window, I saw someone on FB repainted their DD black and did the stained glass window. While I didn't care much for the black, the window is a nice touch.

From a structural point of view, a buttress would not be framing into a window, so it makes sense that they painted the wall as stone. Usually the windows would be in between the buttresses.

I don't know really what you just said so I will politely smile and nod and agree with you

Ha...well, think of it this way...a buttress is essentially used to prop up the wall. You wouldn't want to push on the glass to hold up the building, you would want to push on the stone/columns.

^ You can see that the windows are in between the buttresses in the above photo.

I see your point, and it makes sense. However, I doubt the fanbase would be up in arms if XM went against technicalities and put a stained glass where that circle part is. In the end, it seems it may have been more trouble than it was worth to construct. I think it was considered by XM as a possibility.

No, I don't think anyone wold notice...it would not be impossible to have a small window there, and that would have helped it "fit" with Elektra as well.

This remains the definitive 1/4 scale Daredevil statue. I actually like it more now than when I first acquired it.
