Yeah, I saw this in the SDCC pics and asked about it on the Freaks forum. They already had a topic on it. Way too much for me. I would be upset if I had the original Toynami/Cinemaquette version and see this slightly more expensive version with far more features. Although it lacks a base. Strange that they couldn't even make a high quality video to sell it...
More and more I don't like Toynami/Cinemaquette. Although they release some high quality stuff. I'm starting to see them re-release a lot of stuff with slightly "better" materials in limited quantity. They had a gold Voltron at SDCC. I guess some will be happy with that...

don't really see this even competing with the HT version at a huge fraction of the price. If I had the space, even though I'm a statue collector, the HT version is the one to get.

This one appears to blow the HT's version out of the water but like you said it is 5x the price and who knows if it is justified.
