Yeah I have to agree with you. This revelation didn't really do anything for me. If you wanted to make people take notice Ronin could have been revealed to be one of the following:

Shang Chi
Elektra
Taskmaster

Any of these characters would have made a bigger impact on the story/team dynamics IMO.

they should make that a 'what if' back up story or something, just those 2 panels

Actually, she was a Mack rather than a Bendis creation. The thing I don't get is why Cap has a surprised look on his face. Didn't he interview her out of costume at Matt Murdock's recommendation at the beginning of this arc?
