Got out of collecting, want back in

I sold my collection off a while back and want to get back in. I saw this ad on Craigslist, what would be an offer that wouldn't insult the seller. I tried looking up prices for the exclusives but haven't found any current prices. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/clt/4766375645.html

Almost makes me wish I still lived in Philly. Almost.

I'm not sure what exact figure would be fair, but several of the statues in that set are worth $200-300 on their own. You may try something like $600 as a starting point and see what they say. If they wanted top dollar they probably wouldn't be resorting to Craigslist.

That collection is worth far more than $600. He has rare pieces like White Phoenix, Catwoman, Rogue, and Ms. Marvel. He'd be extremely lucky to get a fraction of those for that price.

At minimum I wouldn't sell it all for less than retail which is about $1100 (17 figures x $65 each)

The question is -- does the seller know what he has? I would assume yes and $65 average would be too low.

But that is a serious set of figures he is selling! I'm close to there and if I collected Bishoujo I would be all over this.

I just started collecting them this year.

Don't have many yet, but I'm hooked!
