...You Do It Anyway.
It occurred to me that my wife and I do some things differently where the end result is exactly the same. For instance:
Coffee: When I make the coffee, I like to pour the milk into the mug first and then the coffee. She likes (first putting in the Equal) pouring the coffee first, and then the milk. End result when it's mixed, the same.
Fruit in cereal: I like putting a layer of cereal on the bottom of the bowl, then fruit over it, then cereal, then fruit on top. She like fruit on the bottom, then cereal, then fruit on top. End result after you pour in milk and start eating, the same.
Setting up toothbrushes: I like putting the toothpaste on the toothbrush then running water over it before brushing. She like running water on the toothbrush first, then putting the toothpaste on the wet brush before brushing. End result once you start brushing, the same.
But, when making her coffee, preparing cereal with fruit or setting up toothbrushes, I always prepare hers her way and mine my way, even when she'd probably never notice the difference. That's true love, I guess.
