i got a chicken sandwich and a wedge salad
but they have a lot of stuff, dad got a bison burger and mom had short ribs.

Sounds like they have something for everyone !
and very glad to hear it was only a trim 
I tried a bison burger at a diner once, and was not thrilled by it. I guess coz it doesn't have the fat that a regular hamburger has.

This is true ! lol
and I was sober as well.
I was hanging out in NYC one night and we all went to a diner that was close to where we worked. I got the Greek Burger with feta cheese. I thought it was so amazing as I was hammered ! Well the following week we were on lunch and went to the diner and I couldn't wait to get the same burger. After taking one bite I thought it was horrible....
