All the statues apart from Gouki have been based on SF4 looks anyway.
The 1/4 line definitely isn't based on SF2.

Ya lots who said they work with Capcom now or get a license , all products are supposed to be based off SF4. Thats what they want their products to look like and it makes sense since thats the game thats out now and new people to the game see that for the first time so thats what they relate too.

Yeah man! The current Ryu posture just does not potray the intense rivalry between the 2 fighters... Too passive for Ryu in my opinion.
