That Invisible Woman is nice!

But it's been a minute ...so we need new PFs of the FF team.

I came close to ordering XM The Thing a couple times, but ultimately passed because I heard they were stopping with him. Seems like he would be out of place without the rest of the team. Sort of like displaying only one X-Men character. Maybe I will rethink that. Perhaps a good display would be The Thing alongside Hulk. Maybe include in the display one of the silver age comics of Hulk vs The Thing.

This has been in my collection for quite a while. Maybe I will just need to be content with this set along with a solo The Thing in 1/4 scale.

I did own 3 of those statues before along with the clear Invisible Woman statue. I did sell them except for the Thing. A lot of people did not like the Reed and Sue statue. I liked the Reed statue but the petrified "Oh Reed, what will we do" look on Sue's face made me get the clear one. I have seen both the Reed and Sue statue go pretty cheap on Ebay but the Human Torch and the Thing are usually much higher in price.

I?m not much of a super hero guy and these look good to me. I will say that the Torch could be a little less on fire to give him some character in those pics. Maybe half and half, but in a classy way that makes sense for him. Right now all that orange just makes the piece feel off to me, so much that i couldn?t tell what it was at first.

Reed is hard to do well. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a Reed statue that looked really good. The stretching just doesn’t look great. Both Bowens were weak… the SS diorama was probably the best version, but he’s just a torso popping up in the rear.

We would be seeing a lot more statues of the Fantastic Four in future if the movie does well.

The comic version would likely follow.

The fantastic four was my favorite read growing up! It would be amazing to see justice done and have the whole team in a quarter scale working together.
