Its a shame Koto moved on from this line. Still think Magik was a strange choice with characters like Gambit, Phoenix and Storm to choose from.

They were basing it on the X-Men comics as they existed at the time. Gambit was mostly MIA and Phoenix was dead, but Magik was a major character in Uncanny X-Men. The only character whose inclusion I thought was weird is Rogue, because she's been mostly separated from the X-Men franchise while she's been off in Uncanny Avengers. Kitty Pryde or Storm would have been much more sensible choices.

Just to finish up on this topic, I did finally get the Storm manufactured by Semic. She looks great! Scale with Koto is good.... height is fine, boobs are bigger than Emma's, head is smaller than the Koto pieces, so I call that a wash
