Actually, I think I figured out the 'inspiration' for that base. Remove those hexagons and what do you have left...

Unfortunately for me he went right back in the box. He is in storage mode, due to me moving soon. But if you are a fan, this is well worth it. The paint app on this is awesome, along with metal spider arms. You will not be disappointed.

I have over 40 Statues..all I can say is this one and the Ultimate Cap I just got..are my 2 favorites right now, by far.
