So...question...
I'm giving Netflix a try again (since when I tried it a few years ago in Canada it was abysmal) and am wondering why the usage is so high.
Usually I can download HD clips online at a rate of roughly 1.5-1.7GB/hour. Watched a single movie on Netflix and noticed that 1 hour of HD content from them averages to roughly 3GB used. This isn't their 'Ultra HD' setting, just regular 'HD'. I'm not worried about my monthly cap and know I can throttle the usage through my account page if needed, but I'm just wondering why usage through them is so damn high?
This isn't bluray quality so 3GB/hour seems crazy...
