Yeah, definitely a slight change in the eyes.
In the new frontal pic, the bridge of the nose looks ike it could have been narrowed a little too- though that could easily be airbrushed "make-up" giving that impression.

Face actually looks a little wider as well, but I think a lot of that may just be the differences in lighting between the two set ups.
Even seemingly slight differences in lighting can yield profound changes in impressions.
So do you think the eye shape was changed- or did they just roll the eyeball up so the iris/pupils are looking higher up?
They really couldn't avoid a direct frontal comparison, but it's interesting that the other shots were not attempts at exact angle matches.
All in all, the new pics are a superb likeness. But I have a strong feeling, getting to that point for owners will entail some work on their part too- because the hair may not be properly styled, nor room lighting optimized for maximum effect.
