Question about the MBNA Chrome Darth Vader bust

I have a question

When you look at the chrome Darth Vader bust closely under the light, do you guys see alot of scrape lines or maybe crack lines on the helmet and on the back shoulder or is it just my bust.

If you cant see it, can you try use your nail and run across the helmet, you should feel the lines as well.

I took out the bust today and realized that there is alot of lines on the bust.

Is it possible the chrome finish is cracking or this is just normal?

i never display mine at all. I took it out of the box today and saw the whole bunch of lines swivelling left and right. Those lines didnt look like scratch lines at all. It looks more like crack lines I think.

yep, i noticed this on mine as well a few weeks ago when i took it out of the box to display. there were scratchy scaly lines on the back of his helmet. i thought it was odd coz i was pretty sure they weren't there when i got the bust a year ago but thought that perhaps i just overlooked it. not good. Jango, on the other hand, seem to look fine.

glad i didn't get the chrome vader statue....i would be pissed if this started to happen later on

the helmet on mine is pristine. no scratch or crack lines at all. i've had mine displayed ever since i bought it. it's kept in an enclosed glass cabinet in a temperate room but i suspect the changes in temperature throughout the year may gradually add to the cracks. mind you the cracks are soft and not deep. i have some pics of it but it was extremely hard to capture. uploading now..

Nice pics Pixar.

One of the photos you showed has lines and it is the exact type of the lines on my chrome darth vader bust helmet and back shoulder.

Your bust helmet is totally pristine.

Thanks for sharing the photo.
