So is the same thing likely to happen to the chrome Jango Fett and C-3PO busts?

Eventually, I think it will depending on your room temperature. Lucky, nothing happened to my jango fett chrome bust and I was able to sell them ASAP before it happens.

I have the Chrome Boba Fett and the Chrome Storm Trooper busts and they both arrived covered in those tiny little crack/scratch lines.

These are not vacuformed chrome, not even close. These are true chrome metal plating, but I think the chrome is too thin on these and they can fault over time (or in my case...already when they arrived). Neither of mine are no where near as bad as the Vader shown...but they are there none the less.

BUT...I also have the Dynamic Forces Chrome Iron Man 2020, Bowen Designs Chrome Ultron and Chrome fullsize Silver Surfer and they have been on display since I received them and they are perfect. I guess it's like most things...it just depends on the piece.

In any regard, I am very sorry to see your chrome Vader faulting. It's a beautiful piece and a shame to see things like that.

I have a Ultimate Thor bust with teh glow in the dark disks on his cheat. Anyway, the hammer he's holding is chromed. When I bought it off Ebay, it was all cracked like the chromed photos you guys posted.

That really sucks.
Do you think the Jango II will have those problems too?
