wow, that's very nice. 10" is about 1:2 scale is it? legendary scale for street fighter line would make a great choice for those who missed the statues.

I have no space to display 1/4 statue for this line as I collect movie stuff but if it's 1/2 bust I think I'm in.

Wow! Amazing detail in the face! This bust definitely has a command presence that is worthy of Akuma. The texture in the face is great and really gives him a legitimate human feel. Out of curiosity, why did you decide to do the hair all red versus the white streak in his hair on the PF?
Are those beads real wood? I kept debating with myself on whether or not to do something similar to my Akuma PF, but looking at those I think I am going to do it. Great job!

Also, I'm suprised no one has asked yet...

Estimated price, release date, exclusive variant?

...and because I'm selfish and can't get enough, how about a tease on the next Street Fighter PF!!!!

Impressive sculpt Jerry! Are those beads made of wood?

Well the streaks were first introduced with SF3 2nd Impact/3rd strike. So maybe going for that old school look rather then a older akuma? Just my guess.

I like Akuma with the streaks but this sculpt looks more younger and i like the all red hair. but if the price is decent i would get two to do a SF3 version!

So we will see variants like shin akuma? or keeping this line 1 per character?

The realistic look is awesome. I wonder what some of the other characters would look like if done this way?

Yeah, the white streaks were first seen in Street Fighter 3 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike.

I prefer him with the white streaks.

Akuma or rather Gouki never always looked like this.

Based on the manga by Masahiko Nakahira, which had been translated into English by Vitz Comics, Akuma practiced the forbidden arts of Dark Hadou. As a result of that, it turned his facial features to look more like a demon.

I hope the Street Fighter ladies will get this realistic bust treatment as well. Let's start with Chun Li, Cammy, Elena, Crimson Viper.....

Im happy to see such positive reactions.

At first I didnt want to kick the line off with Akuma but there seem to be so many people who really want an Akuma statue ( and didnt get one) that it seemed like the right thing to do.

I dont have a retail price yet ...but it will be slightly less than the SS Legendary Scale busts as this is slightly smaller. its not quite 1/2 scale. Sort of between 1/2 and 1/3rd.

yes the beads will be real wood. I think that makes it a little cooler.

Im also glad some of you noticed the lack of white streaks in the hair. I wanted to do that to separate it from the 18" statue. Plus throw in a little SF II love.

I think the SS EX is obvious...

Release date is probably late October. Things go much faster without cloth costumes.

I am really looking forward to sculpting the rest of the characters in this realistic style. I think it will really make a nice contrast to the style the 18" are done in.

Also, I am taking my inspiration for each characters realistic style from actual famous people. So wondering if any of you can figure out who I based Akuma on...I will give you ONE hint. 'Ear'

Oh and Capcom has already approved the sculpt...Im just waiting on paint approval which I expect will go smoothly.

I'm taking a stab at this. Was it Arnold Schwarzenegger's face?
