Kal,
How did you like green arrow 17? Even though I don't have much love for Lemire, I really enjoyed the issue overall. I laughed when he basically destroyed everything that the previous 16 issues set up in the span of a few pages
Artwork was killer as well (as usual with Sorrentino)

I tell you I loved it. I had dropped this book at issue # 10 and when I decided to pick up at # 17 I bought the 6 or so months in the middle for the heck of it. After reading those books I will say that 1-16 were probably the worst comics that I have ever read or own. Now with # 17 it was a complete change. The art was dark and moody and the colors were unique as well. They are kinda copying Hawkeye with the use of the B&W with green tones where Hawkeye has purple tones. The story was pretty good as well. I'm glad they overhauled the previous issues and am hoping for some good GA stories. I haven't yet read # 18 but I'm optimistic. It reminds me of Firestorm where in the 0 issue the overhauled the whole series and "fixed" him. Too little too late as that book is getting cancelled now that it has been good. Hopefully GA will have some legs and be around awhile.
