No ofense at all directed to CS or any other dealer you might be using, but I think I'm pretty much done with pre-ordering. The trick is to find a reputible dealer - and I have to say my experience has been quite good with that as well...

I guess the problem is that once product begins to ship and you are seeing in-hand photos, you get excited and want yours immediately. But if you happen not to be dealing with some high-volume dealer, your guy might be considerably further down the shipping list from the manufacturer.

The worst is when you pre-order direct from the manufacturer and then an authorized dealer shows up on eBay with the product for considerably less than you are paying, has it ready to ship ahead of your direct order, and the edition number is extremely close! That exact situation happened to me on the MR TOS Enterprise. Paid $1100, found it on eBay for $850. Edition number? both mine and the eBay item were in the 200s out of 1500.

Wait, what was I talking about again..? Oh yes, Slave Leia. Sorry for the rant.

Updating my own post, CS has shipped!! I'm slated to receive my Slave Leia on Friday... However, none of my info has changed on my account info on the CS site. Shipping info was obtained via email.

Also my shipment shows 7 pounds, I had ordered two.
Seeing the statue I figured it would weigh more than this.

I only ordered one and its listed at 4 LBS, so it sounds like you're in line for two...

Got mine today quite happy.
The shot of the box earlier in the thread was rather deceptive, I thought it would be bigger.

Now I need a real display to show off it's goodness.

i received my slave leia last week. turned out mine is missing her earrings. i searched the box carefully just in case they fell off her, but it's nowhere to be found. i can only assume they forgot to put earrings on her ears.

my question is then, is there any way i could get GG to send just a pair of earrings across the globe to me(i'm in asia)? mcfarlane did a similar thing for me once, and it only costs them 99cents to mail something that small.

i emailed GG customer service, but it's been a week and still no reply(the site says 5 days for reply), and i thought that's very unprofessional.

have anyone here has previous dealings with GG customer service? any suggestion? thanks guys.
