9703.00.0000. This is to accordance with the Canada Post "to find HS code'. When I'd submitted my claim, I also indicated 9503.00.

Maybe I should stick with FedEx... $15.00 just to dispute it. That's great customer service. Sideshow should know about that. End up paying for other people's screw ups.

I receive tomorrow a statue from Sideshow (P1 TDK).
Customs sent me the invoice and it appears that I have to pay duty fees (6.5%) plus the usual VAT (20%).
And I'm really surprise since for Bane PF I didn't have to pay these 6.5% fees.

I've told them that tariff code is 9703 so I should not have to pay duty fees and they answer me that it's only true if you sculpture is limited to...8 pieces!!

What is the truth here?
I really have the feeling they are wrong...

I had to pay if I want my statue tomorrow but now i'm going to fight (again) with the customs to have my 60 euros back...

I stayed with FedEx. I emailed SS and asked them if they could still ship to me by FedEx instead of DHL and they agreed, BUT they warned me eventually the cost will go up as less and less people will be using FedEx. I take it whatever agreement they had with FedEx there must be a number of shipments to have the subsidized cost.

No, I don't since I have not been shipped by DHL. I have read though some people are paying a bit less but I think it is due to the size of the package. My last statue, Darth Maul EX, I paid $49 for shipping.

Wolf predator LSB coming soon (via FedEx) - apparently code will be 9703.

Does that result in the extra "6%" tax ?
