DHL is a pain...

In the ass!
Please Sideshow use again Fedex for international shipping

Each time I receive a package from Sideshow (with DHL customs) I need to justify that's a resin statue produced in several copies... If I don't do this it stays blocked at custom!!
I never had to do this with Fedex!!!

Please back to Fedex, it may be a little longer with them but it was more simple!!

Exact opposite for me in UK, really happy with the switch to DHL. I get charged much less in custom charges with DHL compared to what I've had to pay via fedex over the years.

Wow. I haven't about or seen anything DHL in years.
Wish you collectors across the borders didn't have to deal with such nasty expenses.
Is it cheaper to have an item shipped from the US from say a friend or family. I have sold pieces to Australia and all I know is I just pay to send it to an airport in Kentucky- I have know idea what it cost th buyer to get it the rest of the way.
Just trying to think outside the box.

20% import (UK) is normal. Anything less is a mistake/bonus.
If an item is marked 'gift' all charges are dropped.

I've heard of a few issues with DHL. I've asked Sideshow to keep using FedEx for the time being. Apparently they charge you a $15.00 fee to dispute the customs code. Bad bad bad bad.
