Some angles look good amd some just dont... its wierd cant put finger on it, and that base = so damn boring. Phoenix has a phoenix, mags has a giant sentinel hand, GG's pretty damn big villian in the spidey world, was expecting more presence. Didnt like SS spidetman PF cloud base and its gotten mixed reception and somehow XM steered straight into the same scenario and looks even lamer because... theres only a cloud.. and i dont consider the glider as a base

I would wait and see what XM's explosion cloud looks like after being printed and painted, the problem with SS explosion is it looks like a imploding marshmallow due to the paint application.

Pretty disappointed seeing the final sculpt, I think this is a case of fantastic concept art not translating well into a 3D sculpt.
I don't like Sideshow's Victorian steam punk cosplay Goblin either so the wait for a 1:4 Green Goblin continues.

Every statue will always have angles that aren't as good as other angles. As for the smoke base, I'd have to agree that I'm not too crazy about it.

overall looks awesome but I don't like how he looks to be just plopped down on some kind of cloud. theres no motion to the smoke, theres no trail from the back of the glider - looks like its going to be a pretty short piece as well

I totally agree with you!!!
Very underwhelming and kinda disappointed, and that's coming from the guy that is planning to get all of Spidey's villains.
I looked passed the whole "it's not the classic custom", and I thought XM would wow us with the smoke effect and add more height to elevate GG, but that's not the case here.
