after an era of LPs CDs 8 track(for the oldies) and tapes - the next revolution has been the DVD
and Vessie likes her TV especially at "work" LOL

Justin treated the young lass from the West to the boxset of their favourite show featuring New Zealanders (topical as they are in the US) - Flight of the Conchords - highly recommended by Vessie and Jazzy

this was followed by another topical DVD box set of 3 seasons of the WESTern drama DEADWOOD- don't know if Vessie is old enough to watch it on her own LOL

the boxsets continued with Dr A gift of the first season of Supernatural - the adventures of two young hunks fighting of demons - focus on the story Vessie - and watch out for spoilers by Anand - he is up to season 4 - something for you guys to talk about rather than fighting all the time like brother and sister LOL

I thought i'd finish by giving Vessie some of her family's home movies in the form of the Simpsons boxset season 11 LOL
- don't know which she is but i've been told i am the comic shop guy (groan) LOL

Jazzy got a couple of nice DVDs
the first was seriously eyed by our resident Batman fan Vessie - you guessed it the Dark Knight it was LOL -careful on the ride home BB

and with a new James Bond coming out and a new actor - knowing Jazzy also looks good in a suit as per his profile pic on his profile SF page - and the fact JB like BB plays texas 'hold 'em - it was a sure buy of a collectors edition - cause thats what we are and crazy too LOL

Vessie set out to prove to Scottie that there was still hope LOL
and she got his man (the smile on Jazzy's face says it all) the dvd of P,S, I love you and the best of Kylie DVD LOL
not that there anything wrong with that LOL
you go *girl

What about some books BB you say
well no get together can go down without a HC being given

Vessie scored the hole in her Ultimate Spiderman HC collection with a cool edition of #3

she also got a nice collected edition of the Dark is Rising sequence by Susan Cooper
a little bit of magic LOL and i'm not talking about Vessie

but i was about to be out trumped by the master BB with nothing less than a signed Jim Lee Absolute Hush edition
nice move Jazzy and congrats Vessie
tears were forming LOL

by the main man himself
the greatest comic book artist of our time ....of our time

no extras is complete without some nice candy - some simpson (Lisa) PEZ and gum as well as some Batman food for Vessie LOL

also a game in the form of TOP TRUMPS card game - Simpson style - i think too many words for the young lass LOL

Jazzy scored some PEZ simpson (Bart) too LOL
gee excited about sugar isn't he LOL

and a TOP TRUMPS too but Marvel heroes for our resident X fan LOL

the day was not over for the young lass who was about to score a niece gift courtesy of her two big brothers
we distracted with a TPB called POINT BLANK by Ed Brubaker and Colin Wilson (we love ya Colin)
we had bought this at the Armageddon con on the Sunday for Vessie as a consolation of not being able to be with us
Colin was such an awesome guy that he sketched the inside with a personal word - what a gr8 aussie and talented one to boot is you get to meet him - in the immortal words of Ben Stiller in Starsky and Hutch - DO IT!!!!
