I just looked up the edition size on SSC and it was 3,250.

That's not large but certainly not small either. Perhaps I am underestimating how big a fanbase there is for the How to Train Your Dragon movies. And it was only $250 at the time, which seems like a reasonable price even to casual fans/collectors.

There are pros and cons to each statue. Overall, I think I like this new statue better - better facial expression (if you're going for cuteness) and the pinkish base makes the statue pop/contrast more. But less detailed and intricate compared to the original as another collector pointed out.
It could be going for $4000 and still would not part with the first Toothless...

I like the new version.
The base is more colorful, interesting. I really like the transparent stone.
I prefer Toothless without the riding gear.
I also feel he looks a little more fleshed out.

They said delayed, and an email saying to reconfirm your order or be cancelled. I think it might be some law they have to comply to when something is late, not sure on that.

So login and make sure all your orders are confirmed. They should send an email but I found another order I had to confirm, probably just hadn?t gotten to sending the email warning yet on that one.

Thanks for the info.
Actually I didn't order from their website, so I didn't get any email, but at least now I know I will have to be patient haha.

As good as these are, I’m still thinking about scoring the Taka Corp Studio Hiccup & Toothless 1/6 statue. It looks so damn good, but it’s a bit pricey.

I've had this paid off for over a year from Spec, really looking forward to getting the Take Corp version.....
