I love the pose (the one I've always wanted as it reminds me of the movie poster) but the silicone bugs me and it will cost around 3000 euros at the end of the day so I think I'm gonna have to pass...

why? they use high quality silicone which conveys much more realism than polystone or pvc so for me that's one of the plus points. if you live in a good climate and take care of your statue i wouldn't worry too much.

I assume I'm paying slightly more via JND once I have it shipped to the US versus BBTS (which technically has shipping factored into their price)?

Hard to say. Has anybody had a shipment from them that could tell us? As far as I know, they haven't shipped a product yet.
I ordered straight from JND. I couldn't get my cc to go through no matter what I did so ended up using PayPal. My hope is that their shipping charges won't equal $401.00

I can't believe I preordered this. I used to collect original movie props and had stuff from Batman Begins, Star Wars, and some other films. Once I decided to get out of it and sold everything off, I swore I wouldn't buy any movie related items but I think they captured the face and especially the hair perfectly. It's just so well done, I just had to get it.
