I see it two ways: End of life as we know it(not the end of mankind and earth), and the end of the world.

Taking from a prior post about the world becoming uninhabitable, that could happen sooner than expected. What with the way we're draining this world of its resources faster now than ever. Whether global warming is caused by humans or just global cycle that happens naturally, we as a species certainly aren't helping it any. We're taking from the planet and not giving back...at least not enough to make a difference. It's not just a USA thing...it has to be a global thing. Especially in rapidly expanding and advancing countries.

I'm a spiritual person, so I feel we're hurting the earth and it's..."spirit", so to speak. But mother nature is it's protector.....and I just think it's a matter of time before we're given a good ass-kicking for our greedy wrong doings on nature. We won't be wiped from the face of the earth, but the population will be knocked down considerably. We are our own worst enemy...and karma will come around. I do feel that it will take something like that, unfortunately, to wake us all up as a race. Maybe then we'll take care of this world better and take it seriously.

Now, as far as when this world will come to an end....I think by that time, we'll have figured out how to at least colonize on a different planet...or at least the moon.

I believe the human species will always be around, in one form or another. Like anything, we'll eventually evolve. That won't be in our lifetime...and probably nobody we know's lifetime.

I don't worry about the end of the world and my death we are all born to die and I don't see that changing from taking a pill or praying or reading some book.
It's what you do between birth and death that matters most.
