Statues do often have imperfections but I am so happy with how this turned out that I don't feel it detracts much.
Sorry, I didn't take the best photo; I wasn't able to capture the tiny hairline. The only other things I could really scrutinize are the tiny gaps where the hair plugs in, and the frayed ends of the belt (maybe its supposed to be that way). Anyway, this thing is just so awesome to look at, the little things don't bother me. There's so many other excellent details to admire instead. Reminds me why I originally got into this hobby 13 years ago.

Congrats! The few minor nitpicks here and there do seem to disappear once he's in hand that's for sure.

Received Akuma today! Simply awesome.
I knew from the pictures that it was going to be a great piece but I didn't expect it to be that awesome!
Huge and heavy!
Looking forward to receive Shin now!

Inspected Shins#3 and #7 today and no cracking to report...................yet. Shin for the win, definetly looks nicer overall than Akuma, nicer colors love the ultra light grey color of the hair which I always thought was plain white. EXCEPT for those white Pumpkinhead eyes, never liked them much and roped hands on Reg. Akuma look really cool too. The sculpt, the weight reminds me alot of my OG Grey Hulk PF from ten years ago, still OG Hulk is even heavier! might be quite a bit heavier, mine's smashing cracking through the base under his right foot because of the weight.

What really pisses me off its being told the flaking is part of the uniqueness of the statue, normal umperfection due to hand painting. This I found it insulting to tell the truth
Oh well! Next!!!!

1:3 Chin Li is/was my most anticipated statue, but PCS isn't getting my money after hearing this. I understand Sideshow is probably more financially equipped to offer refunds/returns for undeniably flawed production (not to mention delays), but Jerry's responses on here would have one think they aren't paying for a licensed commercial product but a taste of his artistic genius, so why would one even consider returning it, right? Wrong. I love this hobby but f*ck that noise.

I do think this turned out great overall despite my rant above. As a company, the should still respect customers who find the laws to be deal breaker, especially since the risk of cracks and chips worsening over time is not something collectors want to concern themselves with on something this expensive. It affects how you dust and maintain the piece too, if you even can with the flaking.

Yeah I just received mine Saturday. Such an amazing piece. First time buying directly from them I usually got my pieces through local or sideshow. Mine has little cracks on the back symbol. I called them, No replacement no type of refund. Just send it back they said. I'm assuming they don't really care cause someone will take this hot item in a heartbeat. I'm not nitpicky person but for over $700 it better be a nearly perfecrr statue. Am I wrong?

I don't like the fact that they stayed quiet and kept shipping them until they said they gave up. Is return shipping on the buyer?
