Interesting to see that they included Vader's red lightsaber. Does that mean this new release will include the red saber?

All of the figure's solicitations for the figure did not include the red saber. Go to any pre-order site and you won't see a preview of the red saber at this moment.
I can see why someone would be confident that it would be included in the end. It makes little to no sense to have a Sith or Jedi collectible without an ignited lightsaber option. I even said as much in Vader's discussion thread. However, given how Hot Toys likes to release multiple versions of the same character (some with the slightest variance), and the fact he might not actually use his lightsaber in the film, I don't think it's far fetched to be under the impression the red saber may not be included with this release.

I was pretty sure that the red light saber will be included eventually. I wasn't that alarmed when the preview and solicitation photos did not include the lightsaber.
If I remember correctly. when Rey from SVII was solicited, some accessories were not shown. It was only later, Hot Toys announced that they were going to add a lightsaber for Rey for her release.
Anyhow, K2SO droid is a Hot Toys figure I had been anticipating for quite some time and is planning to get. Together with the EVII C3PO and R2 DieCast figures.
And of course Jyn Erso too. Most of the time , Hot Toys is the company that makes the best headsculpts in terms of realism and likeness. They dropped the ball a few times like for Milla Jovovich's Alice in Resident Evil After Life, and Angelina Jolie in Maleficent. But other than these few instances, their headsculpts are the best.

The Hove Tank driver is also tempting. Mainly because I like the design a lot. Especially the helmet.
