That would be a cool feature. I plan in putting gun strap behind his back similar to the bow on the picture, since he's already holding a bow. But then again, the bow holder looks fine how it is.

Tanning? Rambo is already tanned, we tan him more, he'd definitely look middle eastern. Some of the pictures you've seen have high def lighting to them so it really takes away some of its natural colors. I've attached a picture for your reference, it's not a great picture, but the color do stand out.
