Thank you very much for your nice thought. You are right, in the collection world, everyone collects the toys they want and are happy with. I'm looking forward to your new figure photos.

Here is some photos of the door conversion project I was doing. I liked the doors I had but did not like the fact they swung into the room, takes up space and display area. So I converted them into sliding barn doors. Barn doors are larger than standard 80" doors so I had to extend them by 4". Also wanted to keep my original trim and install with minimal sanding so I used 1 x 6 on the inside of the door jam to cover up the cutouts for the hinges which matched up perfectly with the trim . very pleased with the results.

looks nice. but why covering the room with doors ? joking... it really looks great and exclusive to slide the doors to the collection area.

Thanks SONICobra, it wasn't always this way, that's why my thread says a work in progress.

thanks jeremydmc , Definitely recommend it, not hard just takes time depending on your work schedule. Using an existing door is more work , but if you get a standard barn door or build one to the size it should be quicker.

The new door slide option looks neat. The (brushed?) silver works well.

A sliding door is a great idea. In particular, it does not take up space and provides great convenience. I also use an accordion door. Well done, congratulations. Are you considering painting the metal parts? maybe the same as the color of the wall. Congrats again.

Thanks, no I will not paint the the door hangers, we like the look of the brushed nickel.

We like the brushed nickel finish, all of our door knobs are brushed nickel, so it matches
