idk i have seen some really detailed miniature pieces before...much smaller than this. saying its the scale would imply its impossible for them to make anything better than 1:10 which i cant understand.

Big call, are you saying this is really better then the 1/10 diorama. I'd have to see it myself the 1/10 is grail for me.

I think you mean it maybe better than the 1/10 to the paint job looks like the factories are starting to get the paint job for the female Rex but hate to say it Prime 1 is still up there with their statues.

I was going to buy this statue but now the new smaller Prime1 rotunda statue has caught my eye. What would people get?

I'm the same, I was tempted by the IS diorama but I think the new Prime is better unless you like having the humans in the scene too.

Prime 1 version is so much better in my opinion! I feel that Iron Studios dropped the ball with this piece. They gave the raptors a re-design (same for the Muldoon attack and 2 raptors in the jungle pieces) and completely messed up the shape of the heads. Their first raptors in the kitchen piece was pretty much spot on with the raptors design so Ive no idea why they altered it. The T.rex paint job isnt great either in my opinion. And the Rex doesnt even appear to be looking at the raptor that it’s about to attack! …Prime 1s looks so much more accurate.

The Prime 1 statue captures the spirit of the JP movie better because it has the money shot of the T-Rex roaring and banner falling. Not to mention the better shelf presence and superior paint apps.

However, Iron Studios has its merits too with a more manageable size and features all the human characters from that scene.

If money is no object, get both!
