hopefully, they change the lightning bolts. Not sure if I'm going to get this one, but I think I would sway towards classic just because it's classic. I think Modern looks better though.

I also prefer the modern. I like the newspaper but can't really stand how cheap the lightning bolts look. Though I won't be buying either way. But the body sculpt is great.

Now the painted version looks incredible and I do like the fact that there are two different options
Originally when it was announced I wasn’t going to get this but when I saw the unpainted sculpt I really did like it a lot
I do really like both versions but I would be more apt to get the classic one however the price is a little bit of a deterrent. I can understand why the prices had to be increased and this is either indicative of the next few statues will be this costly and maybe at some point in time the prices would lower again(though I doubt it) but if this is going to be the average price of a Tweeterhead statue I definitely think I am going to be a little more selective in which characters I would wish to own

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I actually prefer the modern version as well. The classic red is too bright and drowns out his muscle definition and the shading. Not getting it at that price, but I respect TH for putting out the reasons for it. It is what it is.

That's funny ...I always thought the modern version is the New 52 version or the padded version (Justice League movie).
I too like the modern version here. Think it looks better with that darker red. Plus I still consider it the "classic" look anyway.
And yes ...TH may want to make the lightning bolts translucent ...or a different yellow than Flash's costume.

This is a miss for me. Too buff, he's standing around, and the lightning effects look like cheap plastic. I do like the classic costume though.

I guess we should be happy we got Scrarecrow for only 475.
I think the lighting in the picture washed out some of the detail on the classic, but I'd probably still go with modern. Definitely agree that the lightning needs a change.
