Since HMO is DIOs they are going to be very different scales, they would likely go well together. Also HMO mentioned that they will be very limited.

Well, I'll tell you what else is going to be very limited......$$$$

I'm just worried that both companies will not spend an awful lot of time reviewing their product strategy in the face of the obvious statue market trends, the statues sell badly, and these guys pull out of the license believing the license is at fault.

Right now, 1/4 scale, or even 1/3 scale, WH40K is about to go head to head with Marvel and D.C., not to mention, movie franchises like Star Wars, Aliens and Predator...oh, and what the hell, let's throw in some Street Fighter, Mortal Combat and Tekken.....

On the wargaming table, those I.P's wouldn't stand a chance, hell some have even tried! But in the statue world....yeah, I think you know how this story goes.

So, the last thing the WH40K statue license needs, is to go head to head with - another WH40K statue license, regardless of scale or composition differences.

I just don't think there's enough consumer $$ in it.

I hope I'm very wrong.

I'm worried there isn't enough money for even a single license holder but we'll see :P I hope they both have prosperous lines and I'm hungry for anything loyalist ;p However being 25-30" dios probably puts out a lot of people from HMO though, which they are accounting for hopefully by being very limited.

Unless the owner of the statue company plays Dark Angels, I think your worries are very well founded.

How do you feel about orks though...

From what Prime1 told me HMO are doing 1/6 scale diorama so completely different Prime 1 is 1/4 scale.
