I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

wow, thanks mate that's extremely kind of you to say so.

Took a helluva a lot of work to get to this stage I tell ya.

Should have some updates on Thor soon as well so keep an eye out.

Thanks again

Couple of pics of the head now painted up and with a visor.

Paint up was done by me. First portrait I’ve painted so I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Will get some more pics of the head without visor up later on tonight.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks mate. The visor I just made up tbh. NOt based on any reference. I wanted to give him a visor like he has in the Infinity Gauntlet series but that style just didn't work (or fit) well on this piece. Just a case of 2D not translating well to 3D.
I did another design before this one and it was too detailed / didn't fit in with the rest of the statue. I'm happy with this though as it I think the design fits the statue well. The three circles are just a reflection of the chest plates.

Thanks v.much. I'm happy enough with the skintone mainly because this is the first time I've painted any head. I'm sure I'll improve when I get time to practice. When I had first finished the piece and place it on the statue I asked my wife what she thought of it. My wife was confused because she thought the head was an original one that came with the statue.

I'll get some more pictures hopefully tonight to show it all together.
