And I don't think objectivity in art is proportional to its level of realism.
Not to get binary, but something either looks like someone or it doesn’t. I don’t really see how subjectivity actually comes into it really. At least enough for it to really matter anyway.

A lot of Prime 1 sculpts have at least a passing resemblance to the actor they’re trying to portray. And going by the immediate reactions on this face sculpt, I’m not sure how accurate it really is.

There is, undoubtedly, some margin in this absolute perspective.....e.g. an Apple is an Apple...until it's not.

By this I mean, if 6 people look at the same Apple they will agree, by degrees, that they are looking at an Apple. However, it would be naive to imagine that they all see EXACTLY the same thing.....if, the Apple is replaced with an orange, the whole process will begin again....but there will be an agreement that the Orange is not an Apple.

We can all agree that the sculpt resembles the character.....the question is, for each individual, too what degree? For me it's close enough.....for you it's too far away......but we can all agree it's not an orange.

Well, likeness is a bit subjective.
For instance, when I saw Sideshows PF Wonder Woman, I saw Monica Bellucci. The recent Rogue, to me, is the splitting image of Anjolina Jolie...
Im not sure how anyone can look at those statues and not see those actresses, but others here have seen both portraits resembling different people.

I'm going to order it too, I just hope they adjust the headsculpt for the better. If not, I'm fully aware of what it looks like now.

Well I just read through all these pages, this is the kind of statue I would buy and put it in the center of my collection, but the face and skin tone has got to be redone or I'm passing, the artist did a good job, but when your talking about a statue this big and expensive the face has got to be better, and if the artist fixes it then they have created a true masterpiece
