The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I didn't know that, but I'm very pumped for SDCC now! Can't wait to see x-23. She's quite possibly the only one I'll be getting from the punch.

Don't get me wrong they still put quality production piece (Bane).

so from the last 20 years, you have one example and that statue had leaning issues? kk, this conversation is over. You just won it for me.

the death of this hobby is on the way
over-saturation by multiple companies....greed.....inexplicable raising of costs....edition sizes no longer exlcusive
the everyday collector is being priced right out of the hobby....once that happens....it will be like every other fad before it

Couldn't be any more wrong. Do you even own an XM piece?

I've been expecting it for years now, but somehow its still trucking along. It's almost like there are a ton of collectors with seemingly bottomless bank accounts that can buy anything regardless of price. It baffles me every time sideshow makes a huge price hike. I'm 100% confident the increase in edition sizes and prices was originally to slow down the after market and flippers, but now I feel like they're becoming fueled by greed.

Add Superman PF, Dark Rider of Mordor, and Wolverine LSF to the list as well. Those had leaning issues as well.

Nah, I'm right. Trust me.
And I've seen enough of them with my own eyes to know they're over rated. There are a couple that are stand outs, but on average, I would say paint apps are only the same or maybe slightly lower quality than SS.
I don't own any because I wouldn't pay a premium for something that I'm not overly impressed with. Prime 1 has that area covered and blows xm away at a similar and often lower price point here in NA.

You would think the hobby is ending but there are so many people with deep pockets that the hobby will continue. Sure, we will see some smaller producers fold but the big guys like SS, Weta and XM will continue.

The original Psylocke has leaning issues too. In fact, literally just saw one a day ago on Facebook that looked like it was close to toppling over.
