Smile Andrew's Weapon X Sculpt

Hey guys just wanted to post some WIP pics of a weapon x sculpt I am working on. Since I can't afford the xm piece as the shipping + cost to the USA is high, I figured I would just do one myself lol.

You can find the progress on my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sculptor_dad/

Hopefully these pics work, had some hard time uploading them :/

I started learning ZBrush in April of last year, so definitely still a lot of learning left and its no where near the quality of SS/Prime/XM but one day I hope to get there

That's pretty cool. Best I could do with Zbrush is stick figures.

Fantastic work for only a year mate. Congrats.

I'm thinking of picking up zbrush and transitioning from traditional sculpting myself.
May I ask where you picked up ZB (if you found somewhere with a good deal on) and also what resources you found best for learning. I know of plenty of online stuff but wondered what you found best in practice.
cheers

I also started out sculpting with monster clay and super sculpey before switching to digital. Honestly I was super sceptical at first but now it is my go to. I watch the pixelogic twitch channel all the time and learned via the ask zbrush videos. Also, the what's new in zbrush videos were great lol.
