Had been hoping for a sale to pop up and unfortunately the exclusive is already waitlisted. Did they sell 4500 already?

I doubt it, probably waiting on another batch to come through.

Long time lurker here with questions about this statue from other owners.
I ordered the EX on flex pay in September and it just came in; it went wait list shortly after my purchase so I may have gotten the last one (for now).
The statue has a couple issues and Sideshow is offering a 50$ gift card or a full refund, there are no replacements available. My question is how common are my issues or are they issues at all?
My issues are: The left leg/calf leans against the base, the edge of the shin armor is touching the back of the xwing engine, and has to slide against for about 1/4”; it can’t really be seen. There is something on the left eye lens of the full helmet portrait; it is either a painted chip or an intentional part of the damaged sculpt, I can’t tell. There is also a small bead of glue visible behind the right knee, and a few rub marks on the back edge of the cape that were quickly painted grey (sort of matches the grey weathering elsewhere on the statue).
Most in-hand pics are not zoomed in that close; does any of this sound normal for this piece, especially the leg, or should I opt for the refund?
Sorry for the long post, thanks

Personally I think these are minor and easily corrected. You can heat parts to bend them ever so slightly which may fix the leg rubbing up against the base, for example. The tiny cloak mark can be fixed with a dark grey marker. I hear a lot of people do this with statues.
I can’t see what’s going on with Vader’s eye, all I see are reflections and image shake.

Thanks for the reply, I am very much leaning towards keeping it; I bought it for a reason.
Here is another picture of the eye; there is something in the circle that looks like Vader cracked an eye lens in battle (part of the sculpture) or the painter painted over a chip (I see this a lot on Gentle Giant stuff).
Thanks again

I don't think any of those are supposed to be be there.
OTOH, everything seems minor and are on a statue that is nearly all black, and which is supposed to represent the character being seriously battle damaged. If any statue can get away with blemishes like those looking natural and organic to it , it's this one.
The fact that you had to ask if they were supposed to be there proves the point.
If you like the statue, and think you'll ever buy any thing else from SS again, I'd take the store credit.

I don't collect Star Wars, but I will somehow get this, & hopefully in portrait triplicate.
Is this truly on the brink of being sold-out?

Almost certainly not.
I'm sure it's been popular, and sold well (so far), but the ES was ridiculously large for this hobby, at this point in time.
It's going to be back eventually, and because it's going to be on wait-list and then pre-order, they are going to be able to stave off selling it at discounts for several years yet.
The more people that jump on the waitlist, the sooner they will put that next batch into production.
