This man knows what he?s talking about. Would also finally have given us a Marvel Girl Jean. So why?

And Marvel also gets a thumbs down for approving something this inaccurate. What?s next a symbiote Spider-man vs Venom maquette?

I must say I like it very much based on this first picture and I am curious to see more of this maquette.

So far I have the below statue showing Phoenix rising and I think this maquette could be a great addition to my collection:

Then it?ll be modern costumes no classic. It was his decision for Magneto to not have the briefs.

I think you guys are being too hard on this piece. I think it looks outstanding! That said, I have both and am not going to buy this, but what a monumental piece to produce! To me this is more about bragging rights that ‘we can do it better’ rather than filling any collectors particular need. An SS Ego piece. Still, I wasn’t expecting something like this. Bring on Day 2 and the new Harley!

I have to give sideshow props for trying something different here. It's not something I'll buy but it IS unique and not some Batman rehash. Really happy to see them trying something a little new.

Kinda feel bad for them in some ways as no matter what they do, people WILL complain. I think this is cool but I already have XM Dark Phoenix, otherwise I'd likely pick this up. Really nice sculpts, curious to see the full thing.

I like the sculpt on this, tho. Gotta see more before final judgement.

Yeah, i've been clicking on the bauble 1 all morning

I didn't expect this Dio either and I'm looking forward to more photos.

Maybe the statues will also be sold individually, then I'll put Jean in front of my XM Dark Phoenix

That would be a cool idea to do them separately, this will have quite a large footprint
