Well, I'll have more 'details' on the figure on those parts in the future. It all depends on the pose and if there's going to be cast-off features. At the same time, I am a little hesitant to make it into a xxx figure.

I'm assuming that's what you're referring to.

Look at Wonder Woman or Emma Frost, they might be great as popular character reproductions, but also miles away from, say, Ritual or Luz Malefic, whenn it comes to realism. If this new line aims at realism, as FFG did - I'm all in!
Yes, that's very true. Yamato does favor realism on their statues. I like realism too, especially for sexy ladies=).

Hajime Sorayama Latex Doll has lower parts once the cast off clothing is removed.

Took a bit to find the pic:

I was pretty surprised that there was so much detail on the Latex Doll. But I suppose it's fitting if it's based on Sorayama's work.

Here's my colors for Hera. We'll see how it looks on the real thing from the factory.

Please ignore the face on this. The factory does a way better job painting on the face than I ever could.

I think this model is growing on me.
The rendered version is rather nice, no question. Still have my doubts as to whether there is much of the Greek Goddess about her, but as an attractive statue of an anatomically possible woman, it's doing a good job.

Regards,

Richard.

Thanks Richard. I hope the factory paint will grow on your more.

I love the female form, especially legs, so that tends to be my focus on the sculpt. The challenge is to incorporate that with Greek mythology. -Wei

Agree.....however, in Wie's defence, Hera has to be one of the MOST mundane of god icons! She's the goddess of marriage, birth and family.....try sculpting that and making it look interesting. Marriage is essentially a binding contract (yawn), there's nothing remotely glamorous or statue worthy with regards to birth (Eaters of the Dead withstanding), and family?!? That last one screams frumpy hormonal matriarch...... Again, not something your statue collection is screaming out for!
