Dawg!!!

Can anyone really say this issue was even the least bit interesting? Does anyone really care what the Sentry thinks? Does anyone think he's a compelling character? I think its interesting that not dawg, joe, or sam mention this title in their reviews.

Ok, I'll give a list on what I like about new avengers (and why I bought 24 issues of it).

The art - Finch, Pasqual, Chaykin, Cho, McNiven. Usually the art has delivered on all counts for the title.
The Break-out, Secrets and Lies, and issues #21 - 23. Actually good writing on these issues. I loved them, and thought the last three issues were the strongest of the series.

Of course, I'll always belive the Sentry is the weakest link for this title. YOu just can't make this guy interseting, and I hate feeling like I'm getting him shoved down my throat.

But, I still think the title is a let down. Hater I may be, but this last issue had major problems.

The story just needed to be tweaked...

I doubt Mjolnir can destroy the "power of a million exploding suns."

I heard that the entire storyline is actually taking place in an alternate universe created by Franklin Richards, that all of the characters are actually clones (except Wolverine, who's the only real Human being since he wasn't infected by the Celestial manipulation of the human race about a billion years ago), the earth in this universe is #125432523 and the Anti-Monitor is the one behind everything (oops, wrong company).

Otherwise, this whole Civil War thing is great

Probably only because the inhumans showed up. I hope you read Son of M, because that was actually well written and used the inhumans much more interesting than this.

In fact joe, if you have not read Son of M, then I ask you to read that and do a review. In exchange, I will read any trade you ask and do a review as well (as I'm almost done with FF: perez vol 1).

I enjoyed reading this ish....it's the first ish in a LONG time that didn't take me 2 MIN to read. Also....the Sentry has Potential....he isn't much yet....but neither have they truly explored what he can be. I LIKE New Avengers....I was NEVER a big fan of the original Avengers. I do like Spidey but I think Wolvie is the most OVER-used character in comics. I hope it doesn't get too torn down because of CW.

Bendis is kool in my book.....I've got no beef with him....I don't like the art style of Pasqual AT ALL

Haven't read the story yet, but I did thumb thru it......this will probably be my least favorite chapter, as I can't stand Sentry, and wish he would DIE, but I do like what's going on with the Inhumans, and this issue seemed to advance that.
Seeing as how The Avengers were the book that got me into comics, I was less than thrilled with what happened with Disassembled. Mind you, I haven't hated what Bendis has done with the book, but I agree with a number of you.....what REAL significance has the first 24 issues had??? I mean, when you think of the first 24 issues of the first run.....!!!!
I am curious to see what happens in the next three issues (Iron Man, Hawkeye & the Scarlet Witch, Ronin), as well MIGHTY AVENGERS.
