Oh my, most realistic fake plants ever. I hope it's only at night.

Congrats on the piece. : ) Reading on the effort that it takes to set it up is making me somewhat angsty!

That is regrettable for all people displaying it in the bedroom.

Assembling this statue felt like a 12 round boxing match. This was the first time I have ever needed to decompress after assembling a piece; it felt like a marathon.

I must say, all and all, it was worth it. I can't really put into words how I feel, but this is the ultimate Predator statue IMHO; a defining "Grail" piece within the Predator movie franchise. Prime 1 really hit a "Grand Slam" with this project. Hope they continue the trend with the City Predator.
Do you even lift ?

Thank you!

When you start to assemble, bring lots of stamina and patience and you should be okay.

Did not expect prime would make and ship all three versions at once.
Congrats, yours looks perfect even with low res pictures. Version with the lighter color at the knees. Open mouth spots at right place, teeth in mouth less dark.
Thank you!

I have the Q5 and there was no way all 3 boxes could fit for one trip. I totally underestimated the size of this statue. Even as a 1/3 scale Predator statue, this piece is still - deceptively huge!

Yeah, I do lift; that's the funny thing. The assembly of this statue kept me off balance, if that makes sense.

One note to fellow collectors......Be careful with the handling of the unmasked portraits, as they are heavy and the quills can detach from the portrait, if handled incorrectly. Prime 1 gives you extra quills for this very issue, but you can avoid it by always handling the portraits with 2 hands.

Last edited by The Merovingian; 02-08-2023 at 11:59 AM. Reason: Clarification regarding the handling of the "quills".

Quills won’t break. They are made of hard rubber

You're correct; what I mean is "detach".

I have to make it fit. Bcs don't like to drive 6 hr trip twice. Going to take my backseat out and re-measure to make sure

I reckon majority of us on here lift weights but...

...biggest challenge for this piece is it requires one to be very steady and stable in the hands whilst lifting and positioning. The weight is one thing, but one needs to have steady hands, that's where the drainer is. If your spot is tight (like mine in a corner) you'll have to be even more careful, potentially half squat in an awkward position.

Oh and yeah, make sure you choose the right place to assemble this, do not do what I did, otherwise you assemble twice, take took it out of me haha.
