Ahsoka should be in her early 40's
They shot all the season two live action scenes before the coronavirus so all they have left to do is the special effects... so it shouldn't be delayed...

Creating new characters and bringing back old ones both can be done the right way or the wrong way. The last trilogy did both the wrong way, that’s why each episode performed worse than the previous one. Favreau apparently knows how to do it the right way. If he wants to bring back Fett, I’m all for it. Mando is the better character but I’d love to see a face off between those two at some point.

even more than fett returning though id like to see captain rex in live action with ahsoka

I feel like Boba Fett in particular was the giant elephant in the room when they made a show called "The Mandalorian".
It doesn't bother me anywhere close to bringing the Emperor back in Rise of Skywalker. Boba can fit in this story, he never really got to shine, and his death was far more ambiguous.
I think fan service versus world building often comes down to how well it works and how much it feels shoe horned in. After season one they have my trust and I'm really excited to see Ahsoka in live action.

Yeah, from what I’ve read and heard, Fett will be a small part of season 2. It may be possible he has a larger role in season 3 based on fan reaction, and yeah, this is not even in the same ballpark as bringing back Emperor Palpatine. That was thrown together at the last minute to save a sinking ship.
